mb massage & bodywork is a small business located in the San Diego area. Maricel is a Certified Massage Therapist and Reiki Master who feels massage therapy and Reiki is a lifestyle that she wishes to share with the world. Her office location is in Solana Beach, California.

Maricel studied at the Healing Hands School of Holistic Arts in Escondido and, shortly after, began working for several chiropractors, spas, and resorts. Maricel has also continued her studies at Balanced Energies Reiki and Shamanism school in Temecula, where she has studied under a shaman.

She also studied with instructors from Hawaii at a local Sacred Lomi® retreat, which is rooted in the lineage of Kahu Abraham Kawai'i (sometimes referred to as Temple Style Lomi, Hawaiian Temple Bodywork, or Kahuna Bodywork). As a Lomi Lomi specialist and Reiki practitioner, she is grateful to see the world through energy and light. Maricel also practices yoga, tai chi, and meditation, which she incorporates into her body work.

Trained and practiced at the Chopra Center, Maricel is also grateful to share a taste of Ayurveda with abhyanga (frictional massage) and marma point therapy.
